Destination Canada (Current Client)
We are Destination Canada’s representative in Mexico. Our job consists in promoting Canada as a travel destination with the Mexican market in order to increase the number of travelers, overnights and average spent.
The activities we carry out include the design and implementation of marketing and communication strategies; Mexican media relations; Mexican and Canadian travel trade relations; social media management; media buys; event design and coordination -from one on one meetings to fairs and shows.
Fairmont Mayakoba (Current Client)
To support Fairmont Mayakoba we foster the relationship with media in order to promote the property among the Mexican market as the best option to live memorable experiences of authentic sustainable luxury.
Some of the activities we develop are the design and execution of communication strategies; development of key messages for spokespeople; creation of relevant and current content that satisfies the journalists’ needs and interests, as well as the coordination of editorial/exchange opportunities with media. We also support on the design and coordination of events and media familiarization trips.
Tourism Toronto (Current Client)
Tourism Toronto, the official sales and marketing organization for Toronto, Canada's Downtown, named PR Central as its representative in the Mexican market as of March 1, 2017. Since then, we have focused on developing public relations strategies and initiatives with the tourism industry that aim to highlight the relevance of Toronto as a vacation destination as well as the available product offering that is sold through different industry channels.
Among the actions we are carrying out are the planning and execution of familiarization trips for the media; the organization of meetings with tour operators; and the coordination of business missions in Mexico with the participation of representatives of Tourism Toronto.
Visit Orlando (Current Client)
We are the Trade representatives of Visit Orlando in Mexico. Besides supporting the strategy to communicate the product offer of this destination in the market, we execute activities such as: constant training for travel agents; coordination of one-on-one meetings with tour operators to identify needs and opportunities for collaboration; intelligence about market behavior and events; as well as the relationship with Travel Trade media.
La Tablée des Chefs (Current Client)
We collaborate with La Tablée des Chefs by helping them introduce their mission to Mexican hotels, potential donors, key opinion leaders and the general public to fulfill its mission to feed the neediest people by socially involving chefs, rescuing surplus food and delivering it to food banks.
Our main activities are liaising with potential strategic partners and national donors; social media advise; and generate and foster relations with media from several sectors such as gastronomy and corporate social responsibility to convey the messages of the organization.
Jackson Hole (Current Client)
Our work with Jackson Hole Mountain Resort aims to position this destination as one of the main ski resorts for the Mexican market. We provide media relations advisory, in addition to supporting with relevant information about the Mexican consumer and the relationship with the travel trade industry. Part of the activities that we carry out for this client are the creation of editorial content, the coordination of media events, exchanges and editorial opportunities, as well as the organization of familiarization trips.
San Diego Tourism Authority (Current Client)
San Diego chose PR Central as its representative in Mexico with the objective of developing, coordinating and executing marketing strategies, public relations and initiatives with the tourism industry. The objective is to highlighting the relevance of this city as a holiday destination, as well as to offer available product sold through various channels in the industry.
Simon Shopping Destinations (Current Client)
PR Central is the agency in charge of developing, coordinating and executing strategies of marketing, public relations and initiatives with the tourism industry to highlight the benefits offered in their different types of properties (Simon® Malls, Premium Outlets® and The Mills®).
We develop, coordinate and execute communication strategies as well as initiatives with the tourism industry to position Travel Shop as the best partner for the travel agencies in Mexico.
One of the most important activities that we conduct in conjunction with them is the design and implementation of a training program in digital tools as well as destinations to involve the agencies in the era of digitalization.
Canadian Chamber of Commerce
We support CanCham by positioning them as the voice of Canadian businesses in Mexico that promotes trade and investment, which brings more value to the membership of the chamber in order to increase the number of affiliates.
Our actions with them range from counseling on the development of activities for its members, such as workshops and conferences, to advising on the management of social media, as well as developing relationships with distinguished columnists in areas that fall within the Canadian industry such as mining, energy, security and corporate.
We represented Destination Germany in 2016 with the objective of promoting Germany as a tourism destination among Mexican travelers. For four months, we managed relationships and activities with both the media and representatives of Mexico's tourism industry, especially tour operators. The highlight of this project was the coordination of the Regional Director for the Americas and the West Coast Sales Manager’s visit to our country, both from the German National Tourist Office (NGTO).
During their stay, we coordinated for them various actions, from one-to-one business meetings with tour operators and training for travel agents; to a breakfast for travel trade media and individual interviews with several journalists and digital influencers from the travel, lifestyle and gastronomy fields.
We developed communication strategies for CESSA University in order to strengthen its position among key audiences as the best education institution specialized in the hospitality industry in Mexico; and consequently, support the growth in the number of students.
After conducting a key messages definition workshop to align all communication activities, we coordinated the approach to key opinion leaders of the tourism and culinary sectors to convey the importance of the university as a talent generator; and developed professors’ and academic staff’s collaborations for newspapers, magazines, websites, etc. as leaders in their discipline.
During the business visit that the President and CEO of Bombardier Transportation, Dr. Lutz Bertling, did to Mexico City on September 28 and 29 in 2015, PR Central coordinated a business cocktail at the Canadian Embassy that had as objective to reunite key members of the Mexican government, businessmen of the transportation industry, Canadian community and high level executives of the company.
Our activities included the coordination and logistics of the event, as well as counseling and coordination of the communication with the parties involved in the project.
Grand Coral Golf Rivera Maya
We supported Grand Coral Riviera Maya to communicate the partnership with the Lorena Ochoa Foundation to execute the Lorena Ochoa Charity Classic golf tournament, which main objective was fundraising to benefit the Mexican youth’s education.
We achieved this through the coordination of a press conference and the distribution of a release with all the tournament details.
We designed and implemented the communication campaign for this e-reading device launch in the Mexican market, and executed the public relations activities altogether with its partners: Orbile, the e-books library, and Gandhi and Porrúa libraries.
The actions we performed ranged from the communication materials (press release, fact sheets, etc.) development, to the coordination of the launch event that included a press conference with media dedicated to business, technology, book and lifestyle, among others. We also developed and distributed stories for the media and coordinated interviews with key spokespeople.
As follow-up strategy, we designed and implemented a borrow program for journalists: they received a device for them to try it during a few days.
We collaborated with the association to define their key messages and implemented a strategy to position SKÅL as the oldest and with the more memberships (17K) international organization of the touristic industry in different countries, that encourages the good will, fellowship and friendship between the promoters and touristic services providers, as well as helps the development of the industry propitiating the business relation between their members.
In addition, we helped with the communication and media invitation for the Worldwide Congress of the organization, held in Mexico City in 2015.
